Whether its outdoor bathing or cooking, reading a book from the little library in the cosiest leather arm chair in the world or snuggling up with your partner in front of the log burner, there is simply plenty to keep you relaxed and away from your daily worries.
Daisy chain Cabin sits on top of a sandstone quarry wall with stunning views over the Sussex countryside and Downash Wood. A short walk back down to the quarry and you can be cooking up a feast on the double fire pit built from the sandstone from the quarry, which we now like to call our nature bowl, where foraging for fruit, nuts, berries and herbs will be encouraged at the right times of year. You can even trout fish Bewl Water Reservoir by day and cook up your catch in the evening.
Bedroom
Cosy up in the king size bed with a deep mattress and relish in the peace and quiet of your surroundings for a moment or more.
A vintage gentleman's wardrobe with hanging, shelves and drawers provide ample space for a few nights away, and a hook on the wall provides for longer dress hanging.
Dressing table with mirror and hair dryer.
Kitchen and Living
The kitchen is fully fitted with all you should need to cook up a treat or simply boil the kettle for a warm cuppa.
Standard size oven with four ring electric hob, standard size fridge and all the utensils, crockery, cutlery and pots and pans that you should need.
Dishwasher, kettle and toaster.
Teas, fresh locally roasted coffee for the cafetiere, instant coffee, hot chocolate, sugar, a pint of fresh locally produced milk and juices provided.
Mains running hot and cold water.
We provide locally roasted coffee, locally produced juices and milk, instant teas and coffee as well as salt and pepper and cooking oil.
Shower Room
All services are connected to the mains so there is a real flushing loo, an electric shower with rainfall and body jets and a hand basin with hot and cold running water.
All towels, shampoo and shower gel and floor mat are provided.
A heated towel rail is under the window.
Outdoor space
Turn on the fairy lights, fill the bath from the instant hot water tank, pop in some bubbles then lay back and enjoy some bubbles of your own in a glass in the outdoor bath.
A vintage double rocking chair is next to the bath if your partner is not joining you.
A table and chairs with an Ooni wood pellet fuelled pizza oven which is great fun to use and create your very own designed pizza. Pellets provided but please bring your own ingredients.
A large veranda runs the whole length of the cabin for morning coffee and a large covered deck at the west end for all year round outdoor fun and sun.
